GEMINI TERMINAL CHATBOT

GenAI Lab | Personal project | 2026

A lightweight terminal chatbot that talks to Google's Gemini API directly from the IDE. Built as the first experiment in my GenAI Lab, a collection of small projects for exploring generative AI tooling, prompting and API integration in practice.

Key contributions:

Implemented a conversational loop using the google-genai SDK, with model selection and a clean exit command.

Documented the full setup process: installing the SDK, generating an API key in Google AI Studio and choosing a model.

Wrote clear guidance on API key safety so the project can be shared and reused without exposing credentials.

Recorded a demo of the chatbot in action for the repository.
