Hi, I’m Gabriela — a Business Informatics student at UEW in Poland with a passion for technology, creativity, and exploring the world.

I chose business informatics because it gives me the best of both worlds: the technical depth of IT and engineering combined with the strategic perspective of business. While I lean toward the tech side — programming, database design, and process automation — I also value the teamwork and communication skills I’ve gained through countless group projects.

Travel plays a huge role in my life. I’m not the type of tourist who sticks to museums — I prefer to wander through small streets, stop for gelato, and observe how life flows in a new city. For me, IT is not just a career path but also a way to create independence and freedom: the ability to work remotely, combine projects with travel, and maybe even spend winters in the Alps skiing or summers by the sea.

Outside of studying, I’m building the kind of life that often ends up pinned to my Pinterest boards. I’m interested in fashion and styling, I read regularly (my 2025 goal is 21 books), and I’ve grown to love staying active. I see exercise less as a chore and more as preparation for the activities I enjoy — whether it’s skiing down snowy slopes, paddle boarding on Italian lakes, or eventually learning to surf.

Looking ahead, I want to dive deeper into web development and AI, taking on projects that challenge me and sharpen my skills. In the future, I see myself first learning by contributing to other people’s ideas, and later, building my own. I’m also drawn to teaching and sharing knowledge, so pursuing a PhD one day is a goal I keep in the back of my mind.

For now, I’m focused on learning, creating, and keeping my curiosity alive — whether through code, books, or exploring the world one city at a time.
