CONCERT MANAGEMENT DATABASE

Database course: Business Informatics, UEW| 2024/25 – Semester 3

Designed a comprehensive relational database system to support the organization and operation of large-scale music festivals. The project focused on managing ticket sales, attendee information, event scheduling, and artist availability, while providing robust reporting features.

Key contributions:

Created a fully normalized database schema (up to 3NF) using SQL and developed an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) to represent system structure.

Implemented core functionalities such as ticket management, age-restricted access control, and artist scheduling.

Developed SQL queries and views for business insights, including ticket revenue by age group, sales per day, and event-specific artist availability.

Documented system assumptions and use cases to ensure operational integrity and user-focused design.
